Help In Using Search

If you want to get a better idea of what is in the database before conducting your own search, then just enter one of the vowels (a,e,i,o, or u) in the blank following 'Search by Subject' and press 'Submit'. You will get an alphabetical list, called a hit table, of resource listings whose titles or keywords contain that letter.

Click on some of these listings, one at a time, and view the information. Each listing has its own database id. If you want to find this particular listing again, you can enter this number in the'Search by Database ID' and press 'Submit'.

While you are viewing a listing, you may obtain the provider's contact information, apply to register, request more information, or make a copy of the information displayed.

When you are finsished looking at a listing, press 'Back' on the ribbon at the top of the screen, to return to the hit table. Press 'Back' again to return to the search screen. Press 'Reset' to clear the search field and begin searching for something else. (We know that some browsers by AmericOnline and CompuServe do not yet take you back to the correct screens. We understand that these will function appropriately in the near future).
